Outside of school and work,  I enjoy spending time with my family. My two boys are at the perfect ages to visit places like LegoLand and Great Wolf Lodge. I look forward to planning more trips so we can make wonderful family memories! 

I also enjoy supporting my husband and his music endeavors. He's played bass as a soloist and is currently in a metal band - he's incredibly talented! I also enjoy planning girls trips with my sister-in-law. Last summer we visited Boston, and we're working on planning a trip for this next summer too! 

In my free time, I enjoy reading and baking sweet treats. I thrive in the fall and winter when central Texas finally gets cold for a few short months! And in the summers, I day dream of living in the northeast far away from the baking Texas sun.

For 2024, I've set two significant personal goals: complete my MEd (fingers crossed I can maintain two courses per Module) and to complete a 10k by the end of the year! To achieve this goal, my first 5k in over a decade is booked for February! Wish me luck! :)
